where it used to be
While I would have loved to have made it into the show, I am very pleased to have made it into the “Special Mention” category for CPAC‘s “One by One” show, juried by Eric Paddock, the Photography Curator at the Denver Art Museum.
250 artists submitted over 1250 images, so this is a tremendous honor to have my work selected by Eric. The image will be featured in both the exhibition catalog for the show as well as on a slideshow on the CPAC website, which can be seen here. The show opens January 9th, with a reception on the 11th, at CPAC’s Denver Gallery.
And, thanks to the folks at Smugmug, who host my photography website, for rolling out an entirely new interface, which forced me to give my site a much-needed face-lift. It is sort of a work in progress right now, as I am learning the new design tools, but should offer me quite a bit more flexibility in changing things up a little more often. now showing: Our Town, Colorado
I am participating in a show called “Our Town, Colorado” that is currently being shown in the rotunda of the State Capitol building in Denver. The show will be up through December 3rd of this year and includes photographs from 27 different Colorado artists. I hope that some of you will be able to check out the show, as there are some really great works included, and the Capitol building is worth seeing on its own.
